The quality,  quantity of food and hygiene practices in the preparation of mid-day meals are significant for the effective implementation of the Midday Meal program in schools. Recognizing this NTPC Kawas distributed utensils on 28.01. 2023 to support the ongoing Mid- meal programme of government schools in the vicinity of the station.
